From the jungle to the streets

The Challenge

Create a distinctive visual identity for Jungle Jam that could capture the energy of the event while working consistently across multiple promotional touchpoints. The challenge was to develop a strong core identity that could grow beyond the logo and translate effectively into posters, advertising and real-world street applications.

The Solution

Two complementary logos were developed for Jungle Jam — a bold wordmark and a dynamic logo designed to bring flexibility and movement to the identity. From there, the visual language was expanded across promotional material, posters and street advertising, transforming the logo into a cohesive and recognisable event brand.

Poster advertising a music event at Jungle Jam called 'Fluid Haunts' with a DJ photo in the center, and information about the date, location, and featured bands such as Dogmatic, GDSM, Kranky, Morthotech, Pauly, and Reegze.
Flyer advertising an event called Jungle Jam presenting Fluid Haunts, scheduled for January 26 at a venue in Brisbane. The event features genres like jungle, breakbeat hardcore, old skool rave, drum n bass, with artists Dogmatic, GDSM, Kranky, Morthotech, Pauly, and Reegze. The flyer includes details about ticket sales and age restrictions.

The Outcome

The first Jungle Jam event was brought to life through a promotional flyer designed for an international jungle DJ and producer. The newly developed logo and visual identity were used throughout the artwork, translating the erratic, atmospheric and breakbeat-driven energy of the music into a dynamic event visual and putting the identity into action.

Touchpoints

Designed with the fans and local junglist community in mind, the identity was extended into merchandise and stickers that could be taken beyond the event. The dynamic logo gives the T-shirt a strong visual presence, while the stickers offer fans an easy way to show their support and bring a piece of Jungle Jam into their everyday spaces — from laptops to street spots.
