BiteMark
Product and Branding
The Challenge
As part of a student assignment, the brief was to design packaging that could also function as a practical storage solution.
For illustrators, growing marker collections can quickly become cluttered and difficult to manage. As collections expand, so does the need for accessible, organised storage.
The challenge: to design packaging that goes beyond the box — creating a durable, portable storage solution that supports the way artists organise and use their materials.
The Solution
Rather than creating packaging that would simply be discarded, I designed it to become part of the artist's workspace — combining product, storage and portability in one system.
The modular packaging can be stacked vertically or arranged side-by-side, allowing the system to grow with the artist's collection. The jagged edges were developed as an extension of this modular approach, allowing the individual units to interlock while creating the bite-inspired form that gives BiteMark its name.
This connection between function and form became the foundation of the visual identity, with the bite shape carried through the packaging and supporting materials.
The Outcome
The final outcome became BiteMark — a marker brand built around a packaging system that doubles as storage and a portable case.
The reusable, stackable design grows with the artist's collection, while its bite-inspired form gives the product a distinctive visual identity.
A product designed to organise and leave a mark.

Touchpoints
Stickers extend the Bitemark identity beyond the core packaging and into the world around it. A mix of branded graphics, cartoon-inspired illustrations and street-art influences connects with the creative target audience, while giving the brand a playful, expressive edge. These physical touchpoints also create something collectible, shareable and distinctly Bitemark.
Artist Collaboration
BiteMark occasionally partners with street artists to create limited-run apparel that brings the identity into the culture of its creative audience. Each collaboration gives an artist the freedom to reinterpret the BiteMark world in their own style, while keeping the brand recognisable through its distinctive visual language. The limited-edition nature makes each piece feel collectible, turning BiteMark from a functional workspace product into a brand that can be worn, shared and experienced beyond the desk.
